This is the video for my Dot campaign project. The narration is from Carl Sagan’s audiobook, ‘The Pale Blue Dot’. The image at the beginning is called ‘The Pale Blue Dot Photo’. It’s the first ever photo of earth taken from the outer solar system by Voyager 1. Listen to Sagan’s audiobook to hear more of his thoughts on this photo.
This is the outcome of a branding project I’ve been working on. The idea is to try and change the way people view the world so that we start treating it and each other differently. If you change enough people’s perspective the world will change by its self.
A person who thinks all the time has nothing to think about except thoughts. So he loses touch with reality, and lives in a world of illusion.
Think outside the tesseract.
A tesseract is the three-dimensional representation of a four-dimensional shape. It is to the cube as the cube is to the square. Just like a 2D drawing of a cube, when you try to represent a tesseract in the third dimension, you loose the ability to describe it fully. As everything we see is in three dimensions it is impossible for us to imagine a true tesseract.
Waking up to who you are requires letting go of who you imagine yourself to be.
